Life on the Farm
At La Ferme de l'Empereur in Ramatuelle, life follows the rhythm of the sun, the wind, and the seasons. In the morning, the chickens peck peacefully while the cats stretch out in the sun, while the mistral wind makes the leaves dance. Sometimes, in the distance, you can hear the drone of a tractor working among the vines.
In the large vegetable garden, tomatoes are gently turning red, zucchini are growing visibly, and aromatic herbs perfume the air. Nearby, currants and quinces patiently wait to be picked. Between two rows, nature offers a lively and colorful spectacle that invites you to take your time.
Here, life is simple and authentic, close to Provençal nature. We enjoy gardening, feeding the animals, savoring fresh produce, and watching the light change throughout the day. The nearby Mediterranean Sea is a daily reminder of the unique beauty of this unspoiled corner of Provence, where every moment is savored like a precious memory.
A land cultivated for more than a hundred years
La Ferme de l'Empereur, in Ramatuelle, is the story of several generations driven by a passion for the land. For over a century, we have been cultivating the vines here, carefully pruning, harvesting by hand, and maintaining each row like a treasure. Tractors are part of the decor, as are the tools hanging on the old stone wall, witnesses to the work of yesterday and today.
Every bunch of grapes tells a story. Even though we don't produce wine ourselves, we perpetuate our expertise and love of the land, passed down with respect and authenticity. This connection to nature and the land is at the heart of our identity.
The farm evolves with the times while remaining true to its roots. Working the land is more than a job: it's our daily life and our pride. We are happy to share with you a little of this experience, this living heritage, and the beauty of our Provence.
